Why do some people have sex in public, especially at a parking lot in a car?

I went to the grocery store after work yesterday afternoon and walked by a couple having sex in their car and they didn't even try to hide what they were doing. Why do it in public places like that?

and lets just say that was alot more than I wanted to see haha........

They're probably cheating on their spouses & have no place to go...or maybe they were drunk.
